Deploy a PWA site on Web Front End server
Hi Folks:
I installed a Project Server 2013 in small farm (1 Web Front End Server , 1 Application Server and 1 Database Server).
By default the SharePoint Administration central is deployed over Application Server, for this the first PWA site was deployed over Application Server.
Question: I can deploy a second PWA site over Web Front End Server?
Help me please.

View/Edit my Resources Timesheets
Hi,
I login as admin in project web app. I am wondering how to view/edit resources timesheets in my Organization?
Is there any view in Project Web Access 2013 where I can set the date range and view resources timesheets or edit them like we do in Project Server 2003 "adjust actuals" (Edit) and "View Resource assignments"?

Synchronizing data to server
I have searched several different forums and have found this issue recurring over several years. I am encountering the issue as well.
Scenario:
Project checked out in Microsoft Project Professional (replicate issue in both version 2013 and 2016) and made updates. When clicking the Publish option (either through quick access bar or through File > Publish) the status bar hangs with "Synchronizing data to server...".
The system never returns a successful publish. The system never returns a successful save. It just hangs with "Synchronizing data to server..." Cache has been cleared and the issue still occurs.
When I close out of MSP it asks if I want to check the project back in. After check in I check the project out again and find the updates that were applied are in fact on the project BUT the successful publish status bar is not returned.
I have a user base that want crisp and clear instructions. Waiting for File was Published Successfully in the status bar is clear instructions. If we are not receiving the published successfully status bar then end users are questioning if their updates are published appropriately and questioning the effectiveness of the application itself.
Has anyone else encountered this issue and found resolution? Should I enter a Service Ticket for research?

Print a View from PWA
Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue with the "Print" feature on the ribbon in Project Server 2013.
I have a view in PWA with all projects and a number of KPIs. I use the Print feature, and then print to PDF to share this as a report with management. However, I'm noticing recently that when I use this feature, one or two of the projects at the very bottom of my view get cut off when I actually try to print.
For those unfamiliar, clicking the Print button opens a new window which a rendered version of the PWA view, stripping out all the UI and leaving only the grid with the data. On this screen, I see all my projects, but as soon as I send this to a PDF printer (no matter the one, I tried 3), it cuts off the bottom one or two rows of my report.
Any suggestions?

Mismatch data in Project Server 2013
Hi,
I have a project in Project Server 2013, for some of the tasks in "% complete" field it shows "99%" but in "%work complete" it shows "100%".
Note: Team members enter "%complete" in PWA
What is the cause of this issue and how to resolve this?

Trash tasks in Timesheet user
Some timesheet tasks (single entry mode) not contain finish and start dates and they appear "gray", causing an error for the user in the period and it seems impossible send the hours
It's necessary delete the "trash" task for to continue.
Scenario:
a) It happens for aleatory tasks and aleatory projects;
b) It happens for duplicate tasks or excluded tasks;
c) It happens after migration of Project Server 2010 for Project Server 2013.

When to use SharePoint Team Site and when to use Project Server
Hello, we are on SharePoint 2013 SP1 and thus Project Server 2013 SP1 Enterprise Edition.
I came on a few months ago and we are getting Project Server back online and in use.
What do I need to do to get people to use Project Server? When do we use it? When is a SharePoint Team Site not good enough and when is Project Server required / recommended / needed?
Is it that you can use Microsoft Project 2013 with it and so you can have it integrate? Can't you just put that MPP (I think that's the file extension) into a document library and then use it?
I am not trying to argue, just wondering and asking questions.
I'd like to use Project Server more, I just wonder if there are recommendations for it. Maybe if 10 people are involved, or if it will be planned to be over 6 months, etc.
Are there best practices or recommendations that I might have not found / searched for?

Unable refresh Excel reports on Project online
Hi All,
I have created an excel report using OData feed, Im able refresh it in Excel desktop Application but in excel online.
I have activated the "Project Web App Permission
for Excel Web App Refresh" feature. but still Im not able to refresh any report including default MS reports(Project Overview Dashboard and Resource OverView).
Below is the Error when I refresh the report:

We were unable to refresh one or more data connections in this workbook.

Can anyone please let me know what needs to be

Visual Reports in MS Project 2010
I created a visual Report using MS Project 2010 and exported the data into Excel.
Then I used the field picker to add some more fields.
Then I created Graphs in Excel but I want to add some more field into my Report (that I previously hadn't selected).
How can I do this without having to create a new Excel Report?

How to create a enterprise custom formula field in Project Server 2013?
Hi,
I want to create a enterprise custom formula field for project center view that show me the project stages and % completed summary of specific department.
Q1
If [% Complete] = 100 show "completed
If [% Complete] = 0 show "Initiated"
If [% Complete] <=99 show "In Progress"
Q2
I group by "department" all the projects .the individual progress (% complete) show all the project but i want to show the progress of whole department.
For example :
Department = XY
Projects= 5 Each project % Complete is 50 %

Issue after installing April CU Update for Microsoft Project Server 2013 (KB3114950)
Hi,
after installing the KB3114950 (only for Project Server 2013, not SharePoint) the workflowstagestatus.aspx Project Detail Page is displaying text only, no tables or graphics regarding the workflow.
Missing:
- The top bars indicating workflow current stage.
- The middle table with the "Pages may require attention"
- All Workflow Stages table indicating in which stage the project is (Waiting for input, etc)
Not sure how to start troubleshooting this issue, workflows are working with no issues

Actual Effort of All Resources
Hi,
In 2013 Project Server, I want to view actual effort of all resources. These resources work for different project managers. Hence, I cannot make myself as the timesheet manager for all the resources. But, on a weekly basis, I want to see their actual effort like i do in Project Server 2003. Can you please let me know how to view actual effort of all the resources.
