Hi there,
I use project pro to sum hours, while I switched to view 'resource usage' and found system cannot Sum Actual working hours . What I missed? In my mind, Lina should have 41.6 hours ,not 0.
Can someone help me?

I've created a SharePoint Solution Feature which injects the SugarJs library into each page in PWA so that I can use some of its useful functions to manipulate dates. However, I've found this feature (most likely the SugarJs library) has some sort of conflict with Project Center and/or the jsgrid scripts that are executed in Project Center. I've downloaded the most lightweight SugarJs package (only includes Date functionality) to minimize the risk of JavaScript conflicts, but Project Center is still not loading. There are no JavaScript errors, just a blank space where Project Center would be. Deactivating the solution resolves the issue, but I'd really like to be able to use SugarJs. Any thoughts on how to continue troubleshooting?
Hi
I have Project Server 2013 with SP1 installed in my farm. However, some functionalities are not working in Internet Explorer 11. For e.g. Project Schedule page not displaying any contents in IE. Tried to change the browser mode and behavior is same.
When I add the site to Local Intranet zone it is working without any issues. Are there any compatibility issues between PS2013 and IE?

Hello, I know that this question was made before but I just found from past years, so I going to ask again.
Is there a way to show the project notes on Schedule page on PWA?
Thanks a Million!
When I create a Mailbox, is there any way to make all the resources involved on the project to receive that first mail that says the mailbox address? Every time I create a new mailbox I have to send the address to all the resources.
I have three copies of Microsoft Project Standard 2013. I have three machines with the program installed. I have all the keys on their respective key cards. When the program was installed, no one noted which machine had which key.
I need to move the license from one machine to a new machine. I don't know which key to use. How do I find which (known, valid, and activated) key is on which machine so I can do the transfer? All machines work and are in my possession. When done, I will
be using all three machines simultaneously, so I have to deactivate the installation on one machine to use it on the new one.
Thanks in advance,
Temp
I am a newbie to Microsoft Project and I am currently working with Project 2013 and apologize if this is not the correct forum for this type of question.
I have my workers in as resources, I have all my tasks listed and my resources have been assigned tasks.
If I double click on a task I can see which workers have a percentage of the work assigned.
Is there anyway in Project 2013 to display a list of resource names with hours by task? something like this:
Worker A Worker B Worker C
Initial Meeting 8 hours 8 hours
8 hours
Identify Reports 2 hours 6 hours 3 hours
Deploy Core 16 hours 4 hours
Hi,
I have 3 projects in Project Server 2013(MPP).
In all 3 projects Resource overallocation were there and it is resolved now.
When I open 3 projects simultaneously(I mean, all 3 projects are open) I see overallocation indication, If I open those individually(remaining 2 are closed) I do not see over allocation.
May I why is that happening? and How to resolved that?

Is it possible to share a Visual Report with other PMs by adding it to the Enterprise Resource Pool or do I have to share it via a different mechanism?

Hi I a trying to save a deliverable list as a list template but when I go to add that list to other project sites. I don't get it in the list of Apps you can add.
I can see that particular solution on PWA>SITE SETTINGS>GALLERIES>LIST TEMPLATES.
Any suggestions on why its not there.
We have been trying to add in to Dashboard Designer reporting a custom task cost field with only partial success. When we had only partial success with the task cost field we tried a task number field but met with the same degree of failure. The details are below.
Entity: Task
Type: Cost and another with Number
Custom Attributes: None (no lookup tables or formula)
Calculation for Summary Rows: None
Calculation for Assignment Rows: None
Values to Display: Data
Both the Cost and the Number fields are available in MS Project for information input and also available in Dashboard Designer to pull in to an analytic grid, however the fields are both empty; the cost/numbers inputted in the MS Project plan are not making it into the reporting grid.
Do you have any suggestions as where we’re going wrong?
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I have a project in Project Server 2013(MPP),in which; for few summary tasks the hours are shown in decimal(like 19.02hrs in Work field- in duration field, value is whole number but in the work field it shows decimal value).
But all of the below subtasks are whole number.
May I know how to resolve that?

Hello forum
With a migration of PS data imminent, one of the PM's would like access to the Project Plans. Now i know we can see them in Project Center, but he would like grab a bulk snapshot of all the plans instead of opening them one at a time and saving them.
So i was just wondering is there a local storage for project plans?
Project Server Version: 2010 + SharePoint 2010.
Thanks in advance
We are busy with a 2007 (through 2010) to 2013 upgrade, and the data has been migrated.
We have noticed that on some tasks that were 100% the %Complete is now 99%. The specific examples found so far are milestones.
The problem seems to be that the Actual Finish date is now null, when viewed in Project Pro 2013.
However when looked at in the database (both draft and published parts) there is actually a date!
If the user then saves their schedule, the null is written into the database.
I can't explain how this is happening at all. Does anyone know how this could happen? The CU's are up to June 2015.
Cheers
Ryan
We have upgraded from 2007, through 2010, to 2013.
As part of this we are testing schedules in Project Pro. Part of this test is that we open a schedule in Project Pro, and check that the enterprise filters still work. These are the filters in Project Pro that can be created in the enterprise global for all to use, to filter tasks.
In testing we have seen that the enterprise global filter are all present. But the filters themselves are not working. Fields to be filtered on are missing.
All of the out of the box fields, such as Summary or Active, are there. But the custom fields are missing.
So for example is you filter where Summary = True and MyField = Red, only the Summary = True has come over in the filter.
Has anyone experienced this?
Cheers
Ryan
