Help.
I am using Project Server 2010. In some older schedules, we have resources assigned to milestone tasks (we no longer do this in newer schedules). When those older schedules are published, the server sends an email notification to the enterprise resources with assigned tasks, and that email includes the task's name, the task's start date, the task's finish date, the task's planned work, the task's remaining work and the task's % completion.
For those milestone tasks with the assigned resources, the report generated by the server does not seem to be correct. No matter if the milestone task is recorded at 100% complete or 0% complete, it will always display on the report as 0% complete (as expected, all work fields are 0 because it is a milestone). Is this a bug in Project Server? Or is this caused by the assignment of a resource to a milestone?
The assigned resources have been complaining about what they view as an incorrect notification, and I don't know what to tell them other than to shut off the alerts and notifications in Project Web App.
