Hi Expert,
I have one scenario
where resource already submitted timesheet and also it is approved by timesheet manager but accidentally user deleted and recreated in enterprise resource pool .
i need to get already approved timesheet in mytimesheet page can you please suggest solution .
Note:In Mytimesheet page it is showing "Not Yet Created" for approved timesheet period.

Customize the Collaborate Menu Item in MS Project Pro
I would like to change the actions that the Collaborate / Resource Center runs but can not determine how to make this change. I would like to launch a customized Resource Center page we have created in Sharepoint within the MS Project window. Any idea where or how to find the command that is being executed when you click on Collaborate /Resource Center? I know it is not a macro or at least not one I can see.

Schedule.aspx Error
Hello All,
I've recently been tasked with trying to resolve an issue with our Project 2013 Server, and I have very little experience with troubleshooting it.
Currently if anyone in the organization attempts to go to the schedule page we receive the "Sorry, something went wrong" page discussing Web Parts Maintenance Page and so on.
Through the sharepoint log viewer I've found the following error showing up whenever attempting to load any of the Schedule Pages, as well as just trying to access the default one within the Project Detail Pages library.

I'm not entirely sure what this means as I'm more of a SQL guy than an ASPX. Any assistance as to the direction I should be trying to go to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

Strategic Library
HI,
We have new strategic goal in our organization for protfolio analysis.(Project server 2010).
We need to use these goals with new projects only.
We don't need to replace new goals in old or completed projects.
I treid to inactive driver names but the old projects strategic impact values also changing.
I mean not displying in old project strategic impact values when am trying to inactive these driver names.
This is urgent for us.
Please give an idea for implementing this settings.

Retrieving consistent data from tp_columnset of Projectserver 2013 content database.

In project server 2013 the project site data(ie: list like Risks, Issues etc…) is stored in content Database as a single XML column tp_columnset which stores only Non Null values, as mentioned below.

Hi,
One of my user is facing issue in creating new time sheet,
"The time sheet creation failed, because of problems with the project server or with data validations".
This issue is coming to only few members out of 10000 members.
I have done some R & D in Google and noticed two solutions(Below one). but it's not worked. there are no tasks completed for this members with the future finish date.
Is any add-on's/any settings need to update in IE. Could any one please help me on how to fix this issue?

"I noticedthat I had marked several tasks completed, but the finish date was in the
future. So it looks like the timesheet was still calculating the work hours
planned, even though it is completed. Seems like a bug.
I fixed this by backing the completed tasks finish dates to a time prior to
the time sheet creation date. Once I did this and resubmitted for approval,
the time sheet creation started to work."

Set a different standard rate for Enterprise Resource in Project Server 2007
Hi,
We are currently using project server 2007. We have set default currency as US Dollars(for Standard rates and Overtime rates) for all enterprise resources. Is it possible to add overtime and standard rates in Euros for 1 resources without changing the default currently from USD. If so, how? Will it have any impact?.

While accessing PWA, IE is prompting for login credentials & password
I am using Internet Explorer 9 and Project server 2007. Whenever I try to access PWA, IE is prompting for login credentials & password. Sometimes IE9 automatically closes itself.
How to sort this annoying issue? Will deleting IE cache & temporary files help?

http 500 Internal Error while connecting with _api/ProjectData service
Hi,
I am working on Excel services 2013 using Odata services by using Sharepoint 2013.When I opend thehttp://ServerName/ProjectServerName/ then it shows the exact PWA instance but when I am trying to openhttp://ServerName/ProjectServerName/_api/ProjectData/ ,sometimes its working fine and returning the data also
but sometimes it shows the HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.
I also found the description of this error as below:
Memory gates checking failed because the free memory (801144832 bytes) is less than 5% of total memory. As a result, the service will not be available for incoming requests. To resolve this, either reduce the load on the machine or adjust the value of minFreeMemoryPercentageToActivateService on the serviceHostingEnvironment config element.
Can anybody please help me out on this,why this thing happens??

Updating MSP_VIEW_RES tables in Project Server 2003
Here is our problem. For Project Server 2003, when we add a new resource to the Enterprise Resource Pool, the following tables MSP_VIEW_RES_CF, MSP_VIEW_RES_ENT and MSP_VIEW_RES_STD are not being updated, which interns does not update the information in the Resource Center when attempting to View Entrerprise Resources in Resource Center. what is also happening is the in each table it has skipped an entry and also is adding a row for the ResourceUniqueID that is at least two entries ahead what should be the next number.
Here is an example of the missing entry: ResourceUniqueID 1386 is missing.

And in some cases it will add a ResouceUniqueID of 1390 to this table when the next entry should be 1389.
What should I do to fix this probem.

Missing Project name in timesheets
We are using Project Server 2010 with timesheet entry in single entry mode. Version is SP1 with the CU until DEC2012 installed.
Reviewing one of the approved timesheets we found a timesheet line with actual data with a blank project name.
Clicking on the taskname opened the detail of the task in the PWA; and not as expected an error message. But this means that through the timesheet the plan can not be retrieved although the plan really exists. Any reason why and when this can happen?

Project Server 2010 compatibility with IE11 and Windows 8.1
Hi All!
Maybe a silly question since compatibility is always asked about older versions, but here is my question:
Is Project Server 2010 compatible with IE11 and Windows 8.1?
I personnaly tested with IE11 and it seems to be ok. All views and pages can be opened with IE11.
But what about windows 8.1?
Has Microsoft done any communication about this?

How to resume on-hold
In a project plan one of my tasks was put on hold, in between, with some % of work reported against it; now I have to restart that task one week from current date, how can this be done.

Is PWA supposed to check out under "read-only" conditions?
I have found an unusual behavior in PWA that I cannot work around with any permissions settings. It involves PWA checking out a project when there are only read-only permissions to the user.
I have groups that only need to view projects in MS Project or PWA. By setting only "Open Project" in Category permissions, and "Log on to Project Server from Project Professional" in Global permissions, and either ignoring or denying save and publish, MS Project behaves as expected, opening read-only, no check-out. This will occur whether invoked from PWA "Open" button, or through MS Project's "Open" dialog.
However when opening in PWA via the "Open" button, the project is checked out, even though all edit capability is disabled! Stranger still, if I click on the project name hot-link in Project Center, PWA opens the published project read-only as expected, but the "Edit" button is active! If "edit" is clicked, the project is checked out, but no edits are possible to any project field. I also set "Project Permissions" in PWA on a project to allow open only, anf the behavior is the same.
Am I missing somehing in permissions settings? "Open project" is minimum permission necessary to get read-only views, as far as I can tell. BTW, we are at Service Pack 2, October 2013 CU rev level.

Error auto-firing an approval workflow inside a project's workspace
Hi all,
I have activated the SS2010 Workflow in PWA site collection features in order to use an approval workflow in one of my project's workspace. I setup the workflow under "Project Documents" and select to auto-start upon an item's creation. However this doesn't happen and I always get an eventreceiver exception in Event log. It works as expected when I fire it manually. I am connected as the system account.
Is this a known issue or is the log correct stating that a system account cannot trigger a workflow autostart (below)???
