I'm trying to connect to Project Server 2013 from Project 2013 but it is not working.
I'm able to connect to the PWA from IE 10 on Windows 8 Enterprise
On Project 2013, I configured account to connect to Project Server 2013 and I checked the "Log on to Project Server from Project Professional" global permission and it is on.
Any idea why it is not connecting?

we are experiencing the following issue after installing CU 2014-02 for Project Server 2010 SP2 EN: When editing an issue's rich text field, the ctrl-key is not recognised. Ctrl-c/ctrl-v to copy-paste text, ctrl-left/right to jump words, ctrl-alt-(or altgr)
key combinations for characters like @ or \ do not work.
Does anyone else have this issue or can reproduce or disprove it in CU 2014-02?
Note: The browsers used are IE11 in IE7-Mode and IE8. Rich text fields are nor displayed as such in FireFox.

We are currently using project server 2007. We have set default currency as US Dollars(for Standard rates and Overtime rates) for all enterprise resources. Is it possible to add overtime and standard rates in Euros for 1 resources without changing the default currently from USD. If so, how? Will it have any impact?.

As you know Project sends out email notifications with schedule changes as well as failed queue jobs. Each email contains a preformatted footer which can’t be changed as well as a customizable section which can be configured within PWA management.
The problem is that the text is wrong on the preformatted footer and there is no way to change it. It looks like Project developers simply copied the text from Project 2010 and pasted it into the footer. Here is the text that is in error:
“To turn off these notifications, go to PWA Settings, and then click Manage My Alerts and Reminders.”
The term in red is incorrect it should be “Server Settings” however there is no way to correct it. The menu item “PWA Settings” no longer exists in 2013 and anyone trying to change their notification settings is unlikely to click on “Server Settings” to change them.
Has anyone noticed this on their installation? The text is the same in our production and test environments so I don't believe it's anything we have done that is causing the incorrect text.

We have a large organisation Exchange 2010 infrastructure with more then 15000 mailbox. Implement Project server 2013 required the Exchange 2013 version.

One of the managers in my organization is encountering a very frustrating issue when updating his schedule. Periodically when he uses Ctrl-Z to undo the last change made, Project is undoing every change hes made in that session. This has caused him to lose a significant amount of work because the "redo" option is not available after this happens (grayed out).
We are using Project Server 2013 with SP1 installed on Project Server, SharePoint, and the Project Pro 2013 client. He is using the 32bit version of Project.
Has anyone else encountered this issue before? I've searched online and haven't found any other reports of this issue.
I'm going to dig deeper into this and try to make the issue reproducible. Currently it happens sporadically so it is even more frustrating as he is not sure what will happen each time he presses Ctrl-Z.
For now I've recommended to him that he uses the Undo button instead of Ctrl-Z, and also uses the Undo history to go back to the specific change he wants, but I haven't received confirmation that this workaround works or not yet.

I noticed that multi select ECF is not available in MSP_EPMProject_UserView table. I want to report on that multi select ECF. I am not sure how to join them without a unique identifier. I cannot see anything in project user view that I can use.

I did configuration of Exchange task with Project Server. All was working fine till last week. When users publish their projects, even without any project team nor with users assignments they received Exchange task errors:
40512 ExchangeSyncGeneralProcessingFailure and
40515 ExchangeSyncRetrievalOfEWSUrlCausedException
for one teamMemberUid. Every publish make 48 Exchange sync task in Project Queue all with the same team member (but there isn't any member in Project Team .
I have new installation of PS 2010 and Exchange 2010 (one server holds all roles including CAS).
For sync between PS and EX 2010, I following the technet article Configure Project Server 2010 to work with Exchange Server 2010 at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff468700%28office.14%29.aspx (yes I read the second part on Impersonation, too).
Basically I followed the video and opted for "Impersonation for all users".
I got tasks appear in resources outlook "Tasks" folder no problem. They appeared instantly after project is published. But when the resource update the completion in outlook, it failed to update the Project server.
The applog on Exchange server has the following events:

I am unable to open the Projects from Project center with the Alias name with the server name i am able to open the projects, version is project server 2010,
My system is ABC.DC.IN alias name i have given is DEF.AD.COM
With the system name i can able access PWA and all are working fine.
As i have observed with alias name i can able to login to pwa and all the server setting approval center all are working fine but only in the project center i am not able to open the projects (http://DEF.AD.COM/pwa/ProjectDrillDown.aspx .xxxx) its is coming in the below of the ie.
But with Alias name these are the issues i am facing,
1.when longing with alias name its asking two times for user name and password
2.when i click on a project from project center its taking some time and asking for user name and password after i enter user name and password "PAGE cannot displayed" error i am getting.

In older versions of Project Server a couple of project practices was given to me to ensure we don't pick up issues or corruption on the system. I want to know if these are still applicable for the 2013 environment
Do save the project plan to project server with unique characters in the Filename.
Do not leave empty lines on the project schedule in between tasks.
Do not add resources on summary tasks.
Do not put in link selected tasks on summary level.

Then on Project Server config itself
Do not put in unique characters on Enterprise lookup field names or the lookup values as it screws up the Cubes

We recently upgraded our PWA environment from 2007 to 2013 and now I have a user who is trying to move a document, with all of the versions, from one PWA site to another.
We've tried the "Send To" option where you enter the URL of the place you want to send it to, but all we get is the following error: "Could not find the destination item or folder on this server."
What we aren't sure of is how much of the URL do we past in. Here is the URL that we are trying to move to:
"http://isprojects.xyz.com/pwa/IS03286Connect/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx"
On 2007 we would have just dropped the last part of the "/Forms/AllItems.aspx" and it would have worked fine. Now with the "_layouts/15/start.aspx#" in the middle we aren't sure if that is supposed to be in there or not. We've tried it a whole bunch of different ways but we always get the exact same error.
Can someone tell me what part of the URL is supposed to be in the Send To box?
And if someone could explain to me why MS can't build a decent Browse option into the send to I would REALLY appreciate that.

I have created Generic resources in the Project Server 2010. Also have assigned certain tasks to them. I could not see their names and assignments in the OLAP cubes. Is there a way in which I can see the names of the resources and their assignments?
