I have gone through the default Alerts and Reminders setting in Project Server 2013, that doesn't fulfill my needs.
I want an Alerts and Reminders on Specific Task(s), which can be set on Project Plan (MS Project) or Project Server 2013 level.
What is the best way to do this?

i ran into a weird issue.
Scenario:
i have a few environments that i am working on and 2 of them are the same, i have Production and QA which is a copy of the Production that we use to test some developments and implementations.
I have set up the Project accounts to connect to the PWAs, to make it easy i will use the real account names:
When i open AGS-TS QA from PWA and try to open some resources from resource center in Project (enterprise resource pool) while project was closed, what happens is that i see in the file menu the name of the PRD account (the default one), and it seems like it opened the production instead of QA.
But when i look at the account settings i see that PRD account URL was changed to be the same as QA URL.
I have tried to recreate the accounts and it repeats, but what i have found is that if i am making the Computer or a different server that has no same projects or resources as default and not one of the AGS-TS server accounts, it works fine.
Anyone is familiar with that issue, can reproduce it or better, have a solution to it?

I want to edit/update the details of the assignments in Project server 2013 via IOS/Android app. which require web service like ODATA/Project.asmx/REST
Project.asmx is deprecated now and I need a way through I can access the project server.Using ODATA I can get the details, but when I want to update the assignments I didn't found any method in services.
Is there any way to send POST request to Project server via ODATA

I have a few projects on the server in which i see some tasks with the "Red man" indicator on the indicator column.
This suggests that this assignment has over allocations in the task dates. (right?)
when i look at the resource in resource usage view or resource graph view, i see no over allocation, the percent allocation is 100%, and there is no red highlight on the data.
So there is no real over allocation but still i have the indicator shown on the Gantt chart views.
I have saved the project locally and then the wrong indicators disappear, it is only on server.
I have checked in resource center and in other projects, there are no other allocation on those dates in any other projects.
I have checked with several of users, users that i have checked on my country sees the same as i do, users from our support team in India don't see the wrong indicators. Not sure why.
Someone is familiar with this issue? is it a bug?

I was listening to an implementation partner on a webinar that said VBA doesn't work with Project Server Online (Cloud). Is this true? Is there any programming replacement/equivalent? I started using VBA to get around the limitations of Project. The partner talked about 3rd party software and "customizations" that they can make - but it seems like a big step backwards to me.
Any hope?

Hi, we have a programme plan in project server which has 5 subprojects linked into it. Can I edit my subproject, save and publish if eg my manager opened the programme plan first?

2. Few resources with standard rate in one currency and few in other currency

We are using PS 2010 SEM. I came across a scenario where the resources who had submitted timesheets for a project got rejected mentioning the remarks as"The timesheet has been rejected because it contained at least one task that has been deleted or reassigned."
I asked the respective Project Owner whether he had altered any lines in the MSP. He said that he just added a Resource in the Resource Sheet but never touched the task lines. The Task lines are basically created by the resources working on that project. The Project Manager has just created a Summary task for that Project.

In some projects of my list of projects, I can not filter in the fields of Project.
For custom fields and fields for basic project fails when I try to filter by a field of view of any project.
The error is in some projects.
when I try to filter by the fields of view, the error is reproduced.
Projects which reproduces the error are of different categories and with different tasks.
Could anyone help?

Hi all,
Lately, we have done a migration from Project Server 2010 to 2013. The migration went well and almost everything is working as expected.
But in our environment, we send a email (using our own scripts) to users who have not submitted their timesheets. To check if the user has submitted his timesheet, we look at the timesheet status in the "MSP_Timesheet" table. If the statusID =0 a email is sent. Our problem is that sometimes, even if the user has submitted his timesheet, the StatusID remains to 0 (which is not submitted) and he receives an emai.
Also, if we execute that query :

it should not return any row. But it's not the case, I get more than100 rows... That's why the user receives an email
Moreover, we have executed a script that corrects the problem, but few hours later the problem always come back.

I have a situation where a customer wants to use rates with greater than two digits of precision to the right of the decimal. Where can I find documentation for Project/Project Server's limits in this? It SEEMS like it may accept greater precision in certain circumstances, but I can't find any reference to this searching the documentation, so I'm hoping someone here can help.

how can we remove a user who is assigned to many tasks in almost all projects in project server,
If we tried to replace the user, system is saying-
1. < Remove
cannot remove resource that has actuals reported ,
Resource ABC has actuals reported. You need to return to project and clear the actuals before trying to remove again
2. < Replace
Resource abc has actuals reported ,
They will remain on the team but their remaining work will be assigned to resource "G-HR"-
Is this normal behaviour that I cannot search custom fields lookup table on Project Details site using diacritic marks (e.g. ą, ę, ż, ź, ó, ł)?

I was using Project Server 2003, i used to unlock the timesheets for the whole Organization from Customize Project Web Access in Project Server 2003. Now, i would like to know how to do the same in Project Server 2013
