Actuals in future months using single entry mode

Good Morning,

We are using Project Server 2010 with timesheets and single entry mode.  Recently we have noticed that on some projects actuals are appearing in future months after the PM accepts timesheet line updates.  What is the cause of this and how do we prevent this from happening?
