Clear the value entered in a field using a lookup table

Hi,

For example, when I am in the resource center, I select a value for the resource's department. However, I am then unable to clear the value from the department field. Same behavior exists for all fields that uses a lookup table.

Any idea how to clear the value from that type of field?

Note: I am using Project Server 2010 SP1 with August 2012 CU
