Reason/Issue: Even if we uncheck “Load Summary Resource Assignments” box while opening the plan it still does all those things which it is supposed to do only and only when it is selected. Work done by me/steps tried by me: Tried to apply filer by adding a column “summary” and then later filtering that column.
Result of the attempts: This fixed the issue. Now we tried to check whether publishing the plan will fix this issue. Plan is published.
Conclusion: I think, first of all this should not be done manually unless there is something wrong. Reason: even before the plan is opened we are instructing the application NOT to load Summary Resource Assignments. User is also skeptical whether this will completely stop after publishing the plan. Also user does not have much time and he has lot of meetings to attend. Informed the user that I will escalate this issue.
