ProjectUID in a ODC based Excel Project Server 2013 on-prem

Hi guys,

I'm building some reports on my ProjectServer2013 environment (not Project Online!).

Now I'm testing the SQL connectionstring webpart to get the Project ID. And I want to build a Excel sheet with a slicer to link to this connectionstring webpart.

I have a ODC file on the dataconnections lib in PWA. The file has a statement "SELECT  MSP_EpmProject_UserView.ProjectUID as [ProjectUID]" in the code. So I would argue that it would show the ProjectUID in a report that is build using the ODC.

However, when I build an Excel report using this ODC and generate a Table from the dataconnection I don't get any GUIDs. All other fields are shown, just not the UID's.

I won't be able to use oData because it's an on prem PWA.

I have tried to get the GUID in a customfield, but can't seem to get the formula right [GUID], [ProjectUID], [ProjectID] all give errors.

I'm at a loss to getting the GUID in a report. Please help me get back on track.

The main goal will be to generate a pivot table that filters using a slicer on projectGUID that will be controlled by the connectionstring Webpart (that will get the ProjId string from the url on the PDP).
