How to close out a task at 100% complete when not all resources have provided actuals

Example Scenario to illustrate dilemna:
If 6 resources are assigned to a task and 4 of them provide Actual Finish updates, while two do not, and the Approver knows that the work is done, there's currently no way for the Approver to say theTask is 100% complete from Approval Center, but (as far as I can tell) they would have to go into the Client and find the line.  However, there's no way (that I can tell) to determine which of the 4 actual finishes (assignment level) is the latest date to assign to the task level actual finish, once the 4 submitted updates have been approved.

It would be nice if the approver could update the task level % complete  or task level remaining hours (i.e. set to 0h) ortask level actual finish from the approver window (because from that window, the approver can see the assignment level actual finish prior to the acceptance).  Is it possible to see and edit one or more of the aformentioned task level columns?  When I looked at the manage views, there's no option to add a view to Approval Center, nor is there a view drop down option in the ribbon (like "Filter" and "Group By:").

Is there a solution to the aforementioned?  We've flagged/loaded hundreds (possibly thousands) of our activity lines to show more than 4 people/resources assigned, so a solution would be extremely beneficial to remedy any bottlenecks.
