Hi
I understand that only the fields that are mapped between the MS Project and Sharepoint task list will synchronize and that following fields will sync by default:
However, can other Task List fields be set up to "synchronize" at the assignment level in MS Project? i.e., an assignments Default Start, Actual and Remaining Work or Duration? I am wondering if assigned resources can update their status using "Actual Work" and "Remaining Work" in a SharePoint Task List as they would in the My Task PWA page versus using the "% complete" in Task List. Any thoughts/ comments are welcomed.

Hi, Capacity for previous months is showing in all standard PWA views however not in the data coming via the Portfolio Analyser Cube - it only shows the previous 10 weeks or so capacity data. This happens for All resources.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Steve
Some strange behavior occurred when the project is opened in MS Project 2010, it shows to be 100% complete but when you see the same project in the project center it shows 99 % complete. A fresh publish will then change the information in Project Center BACK to being 100% complete BUT, a week or two later, it will be back to 99% complete again.
Please help.
Thanks in advance..!

Hi,
How to set the default standard rate in Project Server 2013?
By default when i create a resource it shows in "hr", i want to change this to "day" by default.
I did the following:
Open MS Project
File-Info-Open Enterprise Global
File-Options-Advanced- General options for this project: Checked out Enterprise Global: "Automatically add new resources and tasks" Default standard rate:
Save Enterprise Global
Exit and reopen MS Project
Now: When i create a resource in PWA-Resource- and open the resource in MS Project, still i see "hr" not "day".
Please help.
Second Question: "Enterprise Global" removed from PWA?

We have Project Server 2013 with approximately 300 users. We are randomly receiving the error below. We can click "ok" and the schedule does open in MSP. We have applied the April cumulative update which lists a fix for this error. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you for your time,

Hi,
I have a project plan in which there are tasks created under two summary tasks - group 1 and group 2 with two status managers - A for all tasks under group 1 and B for group 2. Everything works fine for group 2. For group 1 tasks, A is not able to approve the timesheets - he gets a message asking for next approver where as this is not happening with B for group 2 tasks. Both A & B are part of Project managers group and resource managers groups and they have same permissions. A is already set as status manager for all tasks in group 1.
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I deleted the previous user (to pass on the surface to a new employee) and Outlook 2016 (from Office 365) is not allowing me to add a new account. It just sits there thinking and thinking until finally it times out. I've tried manually as well, but still no luck.
Any suggestions?
TIA
We have a local Outline Code 1 field in an mpp file. The file can be saved to the "Server" (A cloud instance of PWA hosted at <name>.SharePoint.com/sites/pwa) or locally.
We wish to migrate that data from the file up to an Enterprise level lookup table, and, assign a Enterprise Level variable.
A review of prior posts from 2010-2013 indicates this is not possible.
Has this been solved, and what procedure should we follow. We are familiar with Copy/Paste in IE ... tacky and time consuming. We'd like to be able to do this with several fields from other programs, etc.
We can to it between local files easily ... how to we get it up to PWA?
If you feel this post answered the question, please vote for it. I am also available here:

Dear Project Server users,
My company is interested in some professional training and education regarding Project Server 2013, and it's functionalities.
Has anybody had any experience and can recommend some companies, consultants or online training courses?
It would be best if these are located in Europe because of costs.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Petar Bogojevic
How can I programmatically tell MS Project to load a Project Server project using Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject in .NET C#?
Can I use Microsoft.Office.Interop.MSProject.Application.FileOpenEx?
I've seen documentation that says the "Name" parameter can use a syntax like this "<>\MyProjectName". And like this: "<ODBCDataSourceName>\MyProjectName".
Are ODBC data sources really used to access Project Server and PWA?
Can you provide any more information? Such as...
- How do I create an ODBC data source to point to PWA?
- Are there any newer connectivity technologies than ODBC, when using Office.Interop?
- Do you have any examples?
